Altis Belém Hotel (Lisbon) Architecture by Riscon
Located on Lisbon’s waterfront between Bom Sucesso Dock and the Folk Art Museum, Altis Belém Hotel becomes one of Riscon‘s masterpiece. It is a 5-star hotel with 50 rooms and some facilities intended to support water sports.
Its position at right angles to the Tagus offers fine views of the city sweeping down to the river and of the riverside areas from Belém Tower to the Padrão das Descobertas (monument to the Discoveries). The scale of the design establishes a relationship with the dock and creates a kind of aquatic piazza.

A modern unique hotel architecture project called Pazhou Hotel and Mix-used Development was designed by Aedas Architecture under Nan Fung China Development ltd commissioning. This project should be completed at 2012. It is centrally located with Guangzhou’s large, existing exhibition center zone. The project sited on 159,142 sq.m, within a spit of land in the Pearl River immediately outside of Guangzhou center, affords views to the water from both directions, although the project fronts directly onto one of the water ways itself. The design should strive to be unique and iconic to give the project a strong and comfortable identity within its surroundings, aiding in its success among competing neighbors.
