A sustainable prefab house called Week’nder was designed by Lazor Office. It was installed on Madeline Island, across Lake Superior. Some sustainable features and eco friendly building materials are used in this design to achieve maximum sustainability and to provide a good mixture with the environment surrounded.
A great, beautiful, unique, sustainable house was designed by Departure Design and Hammer & Hand for a couple of musicians, Connie and Morgan Curtis. This house is also a open music studio, where the owner can make music and share other arts, like painting, and videography. The construction of this house used a lot of eco friendly building materials. This sustainable design was included on the 2010 Build It Green! Home Tour.

The house is used for a vacation house, or even a studio. This house is called Sommerhaus Piu (Piu Summer House).
This green home building was designed by Samyn and Partner, an architectural firm from Belgium. The sustainable building is a mixed-use building, owned by a cinematographer, consists of the residence, the production studio, and the workspace. The construction was finished at 2007, after 8 years. The plants cover the wall, creating a gorgeous look for this green living building. They really make this house looks green.
Two Houston architects, Russell and Rame Hruska, the owner of Intexure Architects designed a sustainable building for their studio and their house. The live-work studio was designed with the application of several green home design aspects. The house-studio was built, utilizing a vacant urban lot littered with garbage.
This is a treehouse designed by Rockefeller. This treehouse is owned by an artist, also a nature lover. This house will serve as a creative respite from the demands of domestic responsibilities.
