Prefab Environmental Education Pavilion by Anderson Anderson Architecture
This is PGA Prairie Hopper, a sustainable, portable, prefab education pavilion, designed by Anderson Anderson Architecture. Some green technologies are provided in this object.
This pavilion is designed mobile. It can be fold up and transported just like ordinary shipping container. With this mobility feature, it can be placed everywhere it needed, for examples : sport events, environmental observations, etc. It is designed to be a fun place to study, observe, etc.
It is constructed using some reused or recycled materials, such as high-recycled content steel, recycled content shade cloth, etc. Modular, xeriscaped planting trays are also used. It is also protected by a limestone-composite thermal and evaporative-resistant mass. It has a space for some plants. Native prairie grasses, cactus and several hundred additional species thrive without regular irrigation are planted.
It has shade screens that can variably set to provide optimized shading whatever the pavilion orientation, and the screens can be fold when transported. It has ganged, evacuated-tube solar thermal collectors to provide potable, sanitary hot water. The pavilion is self-powered by building-scale wind turbines and high-efficiency photovoltaics.

Terrific work! This is the type of information that should be shared around the web. Shame on the search engines for not positioning this post higher!
