Traditional And Natural Design of Villa Banteng by Formwerkz
Bali, “The God’s Island”, has a lot of beautiful luxurious villa. One of them is Villa Banteng, located in Kerobokan, North Kuta. It was designed by Formwerkz.
The site consists of 2 villas, the upper and the lower. They are all designed following the terraced contour of the land. They are surrounded by rice field, providing very natural environment.
The upper villa is designed as three bedrooms villa. The main 2 floor structure provide beautiful view of the paddy field from each bedroom. They are also completed by a swimming pool and games area. It has high cealing dining space. The pavilion was built as Sulawesi-built wooden pavilion on stilts.
The lower villa’s design was influenced by Sri Lankan architecture. It was built as 1 floor villa, completed by a myriad (planted and red-brick) garden, a sunken lounge, zen area with swing, a long swimming pool. The pavilion was built as Sulawesi-built wooden pavilion on stilts.
