Banyan Drive Treehouse by Rockefeller
This is a treehouse designed by Rockefeller. This treehouse is owned by an artist, also a nature lover. This house will serve as a creative respite from the demands of domestic responsibilities.
This unique project is located at the base of a large pine tree in the backyard of a canyon residence. It is used as office / studio, also a recreational gateway. It is built 12 ft above the ground.
There are living area / studio space and a toilet room in this house. A simple open bathroom is located outside the house.
Wood material is dominantly used in this project. Deep-oiled wood siding, mahogany windows, and a Rheinzink roof were chosen for their natural qualities and rich palette.
