Unique Design of Push Button House by Adam Kalkin
This compact and unique design of container housing was made by Adam Kalkin, called Push Button House. Illy Cafe is one of his clients.
This is different from another container housing. This housing is designed with some furniture are patched on the wall of the container. When all the walls are opened, it will provide some spaces just like usual houses.
It is made from ordinary container. Hydraulic system is used to operate this container housing. There are 6 “rooms” provided in this container, start from bedroom completed with double bed, a bathroom completed with bathtub, kitchen, dining room, living room, and a library on the door part. All you need to do is press the button, and the container will transform itself.

With this Push Button House, you will always have a house everywhere you want. It is an innovative idea to make a container house just like “a flower”. With this kind of arrangement, people can save much spaces and do not need to use a lot of containers to build a container house.
Very clever detailing in the Push Button House. Would love to know the cost of it. Dare say it would be much more economical to build a house out of 4 containers for less money and more practical.
