Zigloo’s Domestique House Project
Zigloo had finished their Domestique House Project after 3 years. The concept was to provide new harmonization between residential and industrial. Some 20′ shipping containers were used in this 1,920 sq ft project.
The projects was designed to have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, also a basement. 9 containers are used in this project, to develop 2 buildings, 8 containers are for the main building, 1 container is for a shed, located on the east side of the main building. A curved design was provided for the roof, to soften the hard edges and regularity of the cubic container’s form.
The layout of the lower floor includes a mechanical room, bathroom, and recreation room (bedroom). The main floor contains all the living spaces in an open, easily circulating form. The upper floor incorporates the master bedroom, main bathroom and a guest room. Some balconies are also available.
