Villa Asserbo is a unique sustainable homecreated by Eentileen from Denmark. The sustainable home design was done in a unique way, as it involved unusual method to form the materials by using CNC printing system. This project becomes a pilot project for green architecture world.
This sustainable home was designed by POLYGON, organized and developed by the Zagorodny Proekt company, in cooperation with the VELUX Group. It was claimed as the first active house in Russia. The design wants to integrate the energy saving, healthy indoor climate and care for the environment. This eco friendly construction is prospected to be a new standard for residential house construction in Russia.

The original building of this green building house was build at the end of 20th century, used as a villa in Driebergen. It was then bought by a pair of preservation enthusiasts and renovated into the first energy-neutral house in Netherland. The AIA (American Institue of Architects) and COTE (Commitee on the Environment) have announced the Top Ten Green Projects for 2011. One of the projects is the OS House, designed by Johnsen Schmaling Architects. All of these green buildings, including this house become good example of the implementasion of environmentally friendly construction as a protection for the environment. This enviromentally friendly house also received LEED Platinum certification.
This is a green modular prefab house, produced by Conquest Manufacturing Ltd., used as cottage on a serene hillside site in Crowsnest Pass, Alberta. The location has very beautiful view of the mountain and the historic Frank Slide.
