Two level concrete house design was created by Anderson Anderson Architecture. With the view of Pacific Ocean, this house looks beautiful. It is located on a small hillside site, south of San Fransisco, with stringent community zoning restrictions. It is self-built by the owner’s family.

Alligator House by BuildingStudio

Another unique design of house was made by buildingstudio. It is called Alligator House, due to its alligator head shape. This affordable house was built on the effort of helping the Katrina refugee. buildingstudio approaches one of their client in Boulder, CO to see if if they’d be willing to contribute toward an affordable home for a Katrina refugee. Not only did the clients generously give their own money, they went into their community and raised additional funds towards the cost of construction. When finished, Neighborhood Housing Services who promotes and markets low-cost properties will offer the house at a vastly reduced rate.

Architecture of LUNA ROSSA House in Arizona by SANBA Design

A modern and creative design of a single family residence in Arizona, made by Sanba Design. This residence was built on a 2.06-acre lot with unobstructed views of Boynton Canyon and Cockscomb, bordering the National forest. Nestled among ancient Junipers and tall Pinions, this residence was carefully sited to maximize the potential of the lot. Shaped as a continuous soothing curve to follow the natural contours of the terrain, this house is reflected in a long infinity-edge swimming pool. The design is modern yet timeless with an expansive floor plan and a balanced use of materials: copper, mahogany, Arizona flagstone, stucco and water.
