Lefay House, A Sustainable House at Hollywood Hills by Air Architecture

A beautiful, sustainable house was designed and built by Francois Perrin from Air Architecture, an architectural firm from Los Angeles. This eco construction is located on one of the last buildable site on Hollywood Hills, sunken to the earth. It is located in the area near Seventeen Seventy, a town just south of Gladstone, near the ocean. With its unique form, this house provides a kind of luxury campsite.

Sustainable Tiburon Bay House by Butler Armsden Architects

Tiburon House was designed by Butler Armsden Architects, and built by McDonald Construction & Development, Inc. It is a sustainable architecture building with a lot of sustainable features. The site itself  was used by a 1,500 square-foot home that was deconstructed by hand. 95% of the materials were then reused or recycled for this sustainable house.

The New American Home is a sustainable project, built for annual NAHB’s International Builders’ Show  in Orlando, Florida. It was designed by Architecture by Phil Kean, and built by Phil Kean Designs, Inc. Some green building certifications were collected, thanks to its sustainable features.

Green Architecture of KIKO House by Ohnmacht Flamm Architekten

KIKO House was designed by Ohnmacht Flamm Architekten at he base of the Tyrol mountains in Austria. At the beginning, the client did not concern about the green architecture, only the aesthetic aspect. One year after its completion showed a great performance on energy use, even lower than a good Austrian  Passive House standard.

Bamboo Orchard Subdivision provides sustainable housing for low economic family in in Cabuyao, Phillipines. This project was designed by  Buensalido+Architects. The design is very modern, and colorful, very different from the the typical “pigeon-hole” or “cookie-cutter” building types in the country. The houses were built by modular and prefabrication techniques.

Shou Sugi Ban addition is a prefab extension designed by BYTR Architects  for a client who owns a 1950′s brick house in Netherlands. It was built from several sustainable building materials. Natural day lighting is considered, also the view.
