Sustainable House Ocho by Feldman Architecture

A beautiful eco house building, called House Ocho was designed by Feldman Architecture and was built in Carmel, California in 2004 by Groza Construction. This 2,900 sq ft sustainable house is located in an area with seismic activity. The environment is still kept to be natural with vegetations and the beautiful view from the hill. Also, to achieve good sustainability,  several features are provided, especially a special green roof.

Harvard Yard Child Care Center by Anderson Anderson Architecture

Another modular green school building was designed by Anderson Anderson Architecture for Harvard Yard Child Care Center (HYCCC). Harvard Yard is a non-profit, cooperative child care center and preschool, serving children from three months through 5 years of age, in Cambridge, MA. The center is Harvard affiliated though not Harvard operated. As a school, healthy, clean, eco friendly indoor environment should be provided. Anderson Anderson Architecture provides those kinds of environment for HYCCC by carefully selecting materials, equipment and construction methods.

Architecture Building of Surry Hills Library and Community Centre by FJMT Architect

Surry Hills Library and Community Centre was designed by Francis-Jones Morehen Thorp Architect. It is located on 405 Crown Street, Surry Hills, New South Wales. It is a new type of “hybrid” building for Sydney where a public library / resource centre, flexible and specialist community space and childcare are integrated in one facility. The architectural context is also diverse: residential apartments, terrace housing, shops and commercial/industrial premises vary in scale though their architectural style is predominantly Victorian. It has been designed to achieve excellence in sustainable design and set new high standards in environmental performance for multi-purpose public buildings.
