Green Architecture of Cliff House by Altius Architecture

Cliff House was designed by Altius Architecture, an architectural firm who also designed the sustainable Christie Beach House. It also has sustainable design, also efficient on energy using, as the mandate of the client was to make a self-sufficient house. With its beautiful views of a spectacular lake, this green home design, which was built on a rock formation, offers new experiences for the inhabitants who want to enjoy the sceneries.

The idea of this house was to create two pavilions placed either side of the old Morton Bay Ash tree , that stands as a cynosure to the scale, proportion, and life of the house around it. Green Construction of HGTV Green Home in Denver

HGTV is giving away n a green home to a lucky winner, in its 4th year running. This home was built in the Stapleton infill redevelopment in Denver, Colorado, a new urbanist walkable community area. The community features Energy Star green homes, with 30% more energy efficient than standard homes and 20% more water efficient than typical Denver households. The HGTV’s itself became 1 of 40 LEED Platinum Certified Project in the state, just in time for their giveaway contest which starts April 15th.

This environmentally friendly home achieved highest point of LEED Platinum home on January 2011 because of its sustainability. This craftsman bungalow style home looks very unique and beautiful with all of its sustainable features and its traditional design.
